We Support HBCUs

Go Ape Shirt is committed to the ongoing support of our country's Historically Black Colleges and Universities. These institutions have served a very important purpose to not only the black community, but society as a whole. HBCUs have produced some of the greatest leaders of our culture. In fact, HBCUs produce statistically more success for young black students that other institutions.

HBCUs have much smaller student populations, and as such, much smaller alumni support. Often times our valued institutions have been devalued by state legislatures, resulting in underfunding. We can't let these crown jewels of our culture languish and die. HBCUs protect the legacy and history of our people in America.

That's why as a company, we've committed to supporting HBCUs financially. We'll donate a portion of the proceeds of each purchase to the United Negro College Fund.
